I was having The Day of All Bad Days a few months ago. It was 11:30 p.m. and my rock-bottom moment of the night – a late night Burger King run. I usually don’t eat there, but I hadn’t eaten anything all day and I was in a rush to get home.
Cherry on top, the line was taking forever. I sat there for almost 15 minutes and when I finally got to the window I was glowering angrily.
Until: “You’re all set,” the cashier told me, smiling brightly. I thought I’d misheard.
“What?”
“Yeah, the guy in front of you paid for your order because the guy in front of him paid for his!”
No one was behind me in line on The Day of All Bad Days, but today in the Tim Hortons drive-thru, I finally got to return the favor.
Drink up random stranger, and happy Friday!
Wow. I’m officially making February my “do something new every day” month. I love this.
That’s awesome! Thank you so much!
I love this. You seriously amaze and inspire me, a little. Don’t stop doing this, because I promise not to stop reading it.
Thanks Leigh!
