Like most college students, my cooking skills go about as far as spreading butter on toast. Until this point in my life, I would never have considered taking on any cooking challenge, much less one as big as family dinner.
Today though, I took a leap of faith and attempted to make some Tortellini Alfredo. I chose this meal for one reason: saying “I made Tortellini Alfredo” makes me sound like Martha Stewart. When all I did in reality was pour some cream and cheese into a bowl, and watch pasta sit in boiling water.
Nevertheless, I am still ridiculously impressed with myself. You are very very welcome, family!
