When my friend Becca and I saw Kenta skating through Boston College campus Friday night carrying three bags and a ukulele, it was immediately obvious that he is an experienced boarder.
And he knew it too. As with most of those associated with boarding culture, Kenta was an arrogant jerk. When I asked him if he could show me how to skateboard, he looked absolutely horrified. He insisted upon manhandling me the entire way.
Thank you for the ‘concern,’ buddy, but you were definitely stifling my potential.
Obviously, we all parted ways with myself, the skateboard and the ukulele intact. You may be good Kenta, but I’m sorry to say, you aren’t the only pro-boarder on BC campus anymore.
