The football team stood in the middle of campus today outside one of the lecture halls accosting every person that walked by. On my way back from a meeting, I decided to give in to their demands and sign up to be a bone marrow donor.
The “quick and easy process” of “saving a life” took forever. I spent over twenty minutes making up information for this ridiculously long form that asked me for information it almost definitely did not need. Also, I didn’t actually save anyone’s life. I just signed up to be someone who might potentially one day save someone’s life.
But they’re going to send me a donor card in the mail. Which is kind of cool. I guess.
