When my roommate Lauren told me about storytelling club last semester, I was definitely skeptical. However this semester, I have attended the group meetings twice and can see why she enjoys it so much. There is a wide range of stories told at the club meetings and they are always well-told and entertaining.
At the end of each semester, the club hosts a Story Slam event where the best storytellers in the group perform their story to a larger audience. I wasn’t surprised that Lauren was one of the club members chosen to perform – her stories are hilarious. I’m not even going to attempt to retell it because I’ll just embarrass myself. But long story short: she goes to India and poops a lot. From start to finish, the entire audience was laughing.
I’m hoping people will just assume I’m really funny now by association.
