In middle school my sister and I went aromatherapy crazy. Thanks to a book titled Mates, Dates Guide to Life, Love, and Looking Luscious, we became convinced that essential oils would make us beautiful, irresistible, perfect human beings.
And it worked! Now we are perfect, irresistible, etc, etc.
My mom is planning on including these magic oils in her massage practice somehow. So I went with her to a class that explained in more detail the uses of some of these essential oils.
It was really interesting hearing how some of the oils can be used as natural remedies. I struggle with asthma, and a unique combination of laurel leaf, peppermint, eucalyptus, melaleuca, lemon, and ravensara can be used to improve respiratory health. I am also trying to improve the condition of my skin, and have included melaleuca in my skincare routine. I am already seeing the benefits.
The best part: after the session, they provided “all-natural” “chocolate” “donuts” made of “flax-seeds” and “coconut-oils” and other “all-natural” “things”. Yum-my.
