My job search began on Wednesday when I put out countless applications, attempting to become a bartender. However, most places want to see that you’ve had some experience bartending (How will I ever get experience if you never hire me?! ARGH. It’s a vicious circle.)
It turned out to be the same with waitressing. By the end of the day, my job search was beginning to feel hopeless. When I dejectedly walked into this restaurant and filled out an application, the last thing I expected was for the owner to interview me on the spot and offer me part-time employment.
I am unbelievably excited to begin!
