#140. Intern for a magazine.

Today was my first day working for Buffalo Spree Magazine. I love writing and have worked with several publications in the past. However, envisioning print journalism as a career still feels very far removed from reality. It was my hope that this summer would help me to better forecast a professional future for myself in this field. I found out today though that I will only be working there once a week. I am hopeful that I will still be able to get sense of how well this career works for me. I got free ice cream cake, if nothing else.
