On the way home from lunch, my mother and I were driving through a rich neighborhood and decided to stop into an estate sale nearby.
In the house there were many beautiful things being sold for much less than their true worth. I selected two rings for $10 each. This one was my favorite:
My mom thought it looked like a rare piece so she did some more research. How much was the ring worth? 7.5 million dollars, according to her findings. I was skeptical though, and upon further investigation, we admitted that it was probably only worth as much as we could get for it in gold. We resolved to take it to the jewelers the following day.
